Zing Laser Certification

In this class we will cover everything you need to know to get started using the Zing Laser Cutter/Etcher!

What will you learn?

• We will go over how to create a file so it will be read by the Zing.
• What settings to choose when sending a file to the Zing.
• How to align the material in the Zing to get a proper cut.

You don't need to bring any special materials for the class, but if you have a particular project in mind you may want to bring any files you have for that and we may use your project as an example of how to create something using the laser cutter.

$20 PPM-Members/ $40 Non-Members

Scheduling:

This class is offered on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. If this time or date does not work with your schedule, please contact us - https://pikespeakmakerspace.org/Contact. Not all, but some instructors offer one-on-one training that we can help schedule.

Important!

(1) Liability Wavier: Non-members must sign our Liability Waiver when they arrive at Pikes Peak Makerspace for the class. Members signed the Liability Waiver when they became a member.

(2) Refunds: If you are not able to attend at your scheduled time, you must notify the Executive Director via email at [email protected] at least 24 hours in advance of the class time to receive a refund.

(3) Late Arrival: If you are more than 10 minutes late arriving to a class, you will not receive credit for the class.
